Report Pilotstudy 2023

The evidence of positive healthcare effects was demonstrated through two parallel, single-blind, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), each structured with an intervention group and a control group. One trial targeted diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and the other addressed snoring (rhonchopathy). Both studies involved 95 participants each, with a dropout rate below 10%. The observation period for both studies lasted three months, starting in April 2023.

To evaluate success, two standardized questionnaires from sleep medicine were used to assess various aspects of sleep quality and daytime sleepiness: the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS).
